By upholding and living our company values each day, we have placed in the 72nd percentile of all companies that were assessed within our industry. This recognition proves our dedication to acting with integrity and demonstrates our belief that doing the right thing for our Planet and our People is a part of our DNA.
This year, all five of our sites located in Costa Rica were awarded the Ecological Blue Flag in the Climate Change Category. The Ecological Blue Flag Program, awarded annually, recognizes the effort and volunteer work of local committees that seek to improve hygienic and environmental conditions and use the Ecological Blue Flag Program (EBFP) as an instrument to mitigate and adapt to Climate Change.
Our business is also pleased to share that it has completed our 2021 Greenhouse Gas limited assurance verification. This verification is an indicator of how fast we are maturing with our environmental sustainability efforts and actions, which is vital to understanding our impact as a business so we can continue to work toward reducing our emissions.
