The Top 5 CX Events We Attended In 2023

Customer experience (CX) events are excellent opportunities to learn about the latest industry trends, network, and share insights with innovative individuals. In 2023, we attended a total of 26 CX events, and are excited to share our top picks with you! In this blog post, we’ll give you our honest review of our favorite events, as well as share some key takeaways that we learned along the way.

1. CCW Executive Exchange

We started the year off strong in Atlanta, Georgia by attending one of CCW’s many executive exchanges. This event is part of the world’s largest customer contact center series facilitating 1v1 business meetings with senior CX leaders looking to solve critical challenges. Our biggest takeaway from this event was just how important skilled live agents are in the world of AI and technological growth, and the challenges that can come with training, hiring and keeping those agents. After many great connections made and insights shared, we will definitely be returning in 2024!

 

2. SOCAP Symposium

SOCAP represents a premier community of top-tier customer care professionals from various industries. Twice a year they host a Symposium exploring the multifaceted landscape of CX and connecting solution providers and leaders from all over. Last year, we attended both the Fall and Spring Symposium and had plenty of opportunities to network with peers and learn about the human experience, behavioral science, and of course AI. These events showcased a tight-knit group of experts with valuable insights across industries.

 

3. Northeast Contact Center Forum

As I’m sure you guessed by the name, this is a regional event pulling in Northeasterners, but our Texan roots still made an appearance! The goal of NECCF is to bring together call center professionals and provide a forum in which they can learn, discuss best practices, and share ideas. We had our very own Gary Ash co-present a session with the President of Call Center Power, Doug Deker, to discuss the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intelligent Agents (IA) to optimize Customer Experience (CX). Hosted at Gillette Stadium, we also got to meet the Patriot mascot and view some Superbowl rings, very cool!

 

4. GigCX On-Demand Virtual Mixology

This was a fun one! You’d think hosting a virtual event would be tricky to facilitate genuine connections but there was no lack of comradery and conversation here. GigCX is a powerful service that revolutionizes customer experience by harnessing the flexibility and scalability of on-demand talent and technology, and what better way to learn about its potential than crafting some classic cocktails in between. 5. CCW Nashville

Wrapping up the year with another great CCW event but this time less focused on 1v1 meetings and more focused on main stage presentations, workshops, and breakout sessions. We had a blast in our booth exhibit with mini golf and snacks that everyone loved while talking about the rise of digital specialist contact center agents, customer channel preferences and AI integrations.


Attending CX events is always an excellent opportunity to stay up-to-date with industry trends, network with other professionals, and learn from the best. Last year, we attended 26 CX events and had an incredible time doing so. While it was tough to narrow down our favorites, the five events we’ve highlighted were particularly impactful. We can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store!
