JustCall Updates for August 2020: Here’s What’s New!

August marks the introduction of many new features and updates for JustCall. With the intention of making your experience even better, our team has worked hard to come up with new improvements and updates. In this blog, we will quickly run you through all the changes and new additions that have been introduced to JustCall this month. 

We’re thrilled to share that besides additions to our suite of features, we have brought some new integration partners on board. First on our list of updates is the launch of 3 more CRM integrations this month. We’ve also introduced an all-new update that allows you to send a fax via email! Moreover, the team member, call logs, and contacts section have been loaded with multiple new features.

Let’s have a look at all these and other updates in detail.

1. Leverage the New Email to Fax Feature

Sending a fax on the go is now possible with the new email to fax feature. The new functionality allows you to send out a fax from any device via email in a swift and efficient way.

All you have to do is attach the PDF documents that you want to fax and enter the fax number of the recipient followed by “@jcfax.io”. With this feature, you will also be able to access the status of your fax transmission. 

We have also introduced a more extensive fax management section with new and improved features. Here’s a quick snapshot of the new features in the fax management section- 

  • Easily filter your faxes 
  • Send fax through multiple emails
  • A new section dedicated to archived faxes
  • Better error reporting on faxes not getting delivered. 

2. 3 New CRM Integrations!

Building efficient workflows will get a lot more convenient. No more toggling between the dialer and your CRM now that we’ve added 3 new CRM partners to our suite of integrations. You can sync JustCall with LeadSimple, Salesmate, and PipelineDeals. The new integrations will allow you to make and receive calls, as well as log call activities, texts, recordings, and voicemails directly into these CRMs.

3. Easy Dialer Access on the Browser with Chrome Extension

The new JustCall chrome extension got a lot better. Besides allowing access to the dialer from any page, it enables you to check recent calls, and answer calls from the browser itself. What’s more, the new JustCall chrome extension also takes care of your privacy.

What’s new in the JustCall chrome extension:

  • Answer calls from the browser- Now you can easily receive calls from any webpage you are browsing.
  • Access recent calls- With the new update, you can conveniently check and contact your recently contacted numbers or contacts directly from any webpage.
  • Make calls from any page- Access JustCall dialer by clicking on the chrome extension icon and selecting “Open Dialer” to make calls.
  • Better security and user privacy- The JustCall chrome extension only reads web pages of partner CRMs and Helpdesks, for the purpose of adding click-to-call and text icons.

4. Now Create Auto Dialer Campaigns Using Google Sheets

Another new update allows you to create or add contacts in an existing Auto Dialer campaign using Google Sheets.

Now, you have the option of adding contacts straight from your Google Sheets to the Auto Dialer. A lot of time gets wasted in switching between Google Sheets and the Auto Dialer. With this new JustCall update, you can import contacts directly from Google Sheets. No more having to switch between the dialer and Google Sheets.

5. Improved Team Members Section

A completely revamped version of our existing Team Members’ Section comes loaded with new features and functionality. You can invite new members by adding their email IDs or by uploading CSV files with an email column.

You can add role-based permissions. So, for instance, the Team Lead or Manager may have all-feature access including all team members’ call logs, adding calling credits, and so on. Meanwhile, team members may only be restricted to their respective accounts.

Note that the Admin, Manager, or Team Members with ‘View Logs’ permissions can only view call analytics.

And most importantly, you can also assign new JustCall numbers or share existing JustCall numbers with the new team members.

6. Revamped Contacts & Call Logs Section for Better Accessibility

We have launched an updated version of the contacts and call logs section. This new version has more information on call details and activities associated with the contact.

For each contact, you can now quickly view all activities be it calls, messages, or notes from a single page. Also, you can switch between any of these activities. You can listen to the call recording, see notes, disposition codes, messages, and other call-related details.

The call logs section has multiple new features for quickly accessing call related information. These new updates will enable JustCall users to archive multiple call logs at once, copy number to the clipboard in a click, and other such features.

7. Messages Page 2.0

Also, we have a renewed messages page for you with a whole new UI/UX, more functionality, and a fresh set of features! Quick action buttons, a redesigned chat screen, proactive connection status and so many new features have been introduced as a part of the new and exciting version of our Messages page.

Here’s what has changed and improved on the Messages page:

  • Take Actions on Conversations with Just a Click- Quick action buttons to mark your messages as ‘read/undread‘ or to archive/restore/delete conversations.
  • New Multipurpose Sidebar- A newly implemented sidebar that allows quick, direct access to your contacts’ information, profile in the CRM, and ability to open the contact in the dialer. 
  • View Connection Status- Get connection status indication as and when you go online/offline.
  • Redesigned Chat Screen- View conversation list and the chat section simultaneously plus a range of toggle, switch and other functionality.
  • Functionality to Preserve Content- Typed content on the messages page gets preserved even as you switch to other conversations or reload the page.
  • Preserve Your Selection of JustCall Numbers- Selected JustCall numbers get preserved even on reloading the page and switching from inbox to archive or vice versa.
