New Year, New Plans

What a ride!

When we opened shop at JustCall in 2016, we were laser focused on creating something that our customers would truly love. Fast forward seven years, and tons of amazing customer feedback, today we’re trusted by over 6,000 customers based in 80+ countries. I cannot thank our customers and partners enough for being part of this amazing journey.

Over the years, we have made many product enhancements based on the feedback from our customers. Sometimes, weighing customer needs with business needs can be a balancing act. But it’s one that I’m more than willing to champion internally to ensure we stay focused on YOU.

And speaking of a YOU focus, we announced in August last year that we had updated our plans to better reflect what our customers asked for and the customer profile they’d be a fit for. In September 2023, we also announced brand new AI plans available to all new and existing customers.

Our updated plans come into effect for all customers starting February 1, 2024, and I wanted to take a moment to explain why we’re building what we’re building.

TL;DR: We’re focusing on helping you work smarter with AI; better flexibility and support as you grow; and greater ease of doing business.

Now, let’s dig into what we’ve built for you and why:

  1. Credits for calling and SMS:

    The first thing we wanted to change for you was to include credits for calling (inbound and outbound) and SMS/MMS in all plans. Our customers indicated that this is one of the things that they wanted as part of their plans, and so we made this change. No need for cumbersome recharging and you know how much you’ll spend each month with us.

    • As of today, both our Team and Pro plans include outbound calling minutes of 1000 mins/user/month, and our new Essentials plan includes outbound calling minutes of 500 mins/user/month, pooled at an account level. You can always go beyond these limits on a pay-as-you-go model.
    • We continue to offer inbound calling minutes of 1000 mins/user/month on all plans.
    • In addition, the Team plan offers SMS / MMS segments of 500/user/month and the Pro plan includes SMS / MMS segments of 1000/user/month.
    • Do note the location-specific limits in our fair usage policy.
  2. AI features that save you time and drudgery:

    “I love taking notes while on customer calls and feeding them into the CRM”, said no sales or support rep ever. Luckily, with AI, our customers don’t have to do this again.

    • All our customers on the Team and Pro plans get AI-generated call transcripts and summaries for their meetings, with a limit of one-hour worth meetings and two-hour worth meetings, respectively.
    • What’s more, our customers can access these AI-generated call transcripts and summaries within their CRM itself.

  3. Support for our fledgling customers:

    We all start somewhere. We too, were once a one-person company. And that’s why we introduced our Essentials plan — to help our young and growing customers from start to scale.

    • The plan starts at $19 per user/month billed annually and offers outbound calling & SMS, inbound calling, a free local number, basic call & SMS analytics, access to all our core calling features, and integrations with Google and Slack.

We continue to offer our Business and Business Plus plans for enterprises, bringing together the best of security, compliance, and flexibility needs in one neat bundle.

Overall, we believe that we have just started to scratch the surface when it comes to AI technology and its power to transform our lives. We expect AI to evolve at a much faster pace in 2024 and will keep up with this speed and continue to add functionalities that will make your work lives much better.
