As you probably know, Santa’s call centers have been using Pipkins for their scheduling and forecasting for some time now. Santa’s Toy Factory has recently purchased Pipkins’ monitoring and mentoring solution to make sure the elves are fully trained and to detect the ones skipping out early to play with the reindeer.
According to Santa, “Making toys requires expert training since we must comply with safety regulations – and who wants to give a good little boy a train that cannot run? Not us – we want all toys to meet the standards so each child has many years of enjoyment from the toys we produce – they deserve it. By using the mentoring tools our elves can receive training no matter which office they are working from and can be watched with the monitoring tool periodically to make sure they are performing their work correctly.”
To further guarantee delivery on time this year, and to improve performance for next Christmas Eve, Santa has purchased Pipkins’ task tracking tool. Said Santa, “It is always a struggle to make it around the world in one night, but the solutions we have purchased from Pipkins have made my life much easier. And more important, these solutions will make next year’s flight much smoother. Tracking tasks such as face painting for our dolls, stuffing teddy bears, and assembling toy trucks allows us to place the highest performing elves in these positions.”
The data collected from task tracking tool also aids in more accurate forecasting and scheduling. Santa will know how much time it takes to paint a doll’s face or to build a race car and can schedule the right number of elves to perform these tasks next year.
Pipkins is proud to be the supplier of products that make Santa’s job go more smoothly. Wouldn’t your company want these new products under your tree to make 2018 smoother too?
