Squelch Is Playing to Win at TSW 2019 in Las Vegas

Squelch is proud to announce its sponsorship of Technology & Services World (TSW) 2019, which is hosted by the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA). The conference, happening October 21-23 in Las Vegas, draws thousands of technology and services company leaders to share strategies and solutions for meeting rising customer expectations.

To help CX professionals prepare for TSW, we’ve put together a list of key event details along with a weather forecast and some packing recommendations.

TSW Las Vegas Event Details

TSW 2019 will be held at ARIA Resort & Casino, “the crown jewel of CityCenter on the Las Vegas strip” according to TSIA. The luxurious venue offers easy access to a variety of high-end shopping, dining, and entertainment options. But with an agenda of over 100 keynotes and sessions, attendees likely won’t have a lot of free time for exploring.

The conference kicks off on Monday, October 21 with registration available from 7 am to 6 pm. The beginning of the day will feature a handful of pre-conference keynotes and breakout sessions. Things officially get underway with the opening keynote at 2 pm. Sessions will continue until 5:15, and a welcome reception will cap off the day with refreshments provided until 7.

Be sure to get a good night’s sleep as Tuesday, October 22 will start early with “table topics” and breakfast at 7:30 am. There’s a keynote presentation at 8:30 and then it’s off to the races with a full day of talks until 5. The good news: TSIA will offer food and stretch breaks throughout the day, and there’s a second evening reception from 5 to 6:30.

The third and final day will also begin bright and early with “table topics” and breakfast once again at 7:30 am. A handful of talks and announcements will take place prior to the conference’s closing keynote at 11.

Can’t-Miss Sessions for CX and Customer Success

With so many sessions available, we suggest perusing the TSW agenda ahead of time to make a list of the top four to five talks you want to be sure to attend. We’re particularly excited about the customer success track, including:

We also hope you’ll take advantage of the breaks in programming to stop by Booth 44 in the expo hall to meet our team and see the Squelch customer experience optimization solution in action.

We’ll be available during all expo hall hours:

• Monday — 12:45 pm – 1:45 pm and 5:15 pm – 7 pm
• Tuesday — 7:30 am – 6:30 pm
• Wednesday — 7:30 am – 10 am

In addition to product demos, the Squelch team is offering a golf putting contest and will give away a pair of Apple AirPods. We want to make sure TSW attendees are playing as hard as they’re working!

Weather Forecast and Packing Recommendations

The forecast for TSW is daytime temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s with morning and evening temps in the mid 50s, which means a potential swing of nearly 30 degrees!

Given this range, dressing in layers is the best bet. This will help attendees stay cozy at the beginning and end of the day, not to mention in the often too-cold hotel event spaces, while also keeping them comfortable during the heat of the afternoon.
