Working Solutions Ranked #5 on FlexJobs Top Companies with Remote Jobs for 2020

For the sixth consecutive year, Working Solutions is proud to be among FlexJobs’ 100 Top Companies with Remote Jobs. And, just as we did in 2019, we ranked #5 this year, reaffirming our industry position. Our company, in fact, has made the Top 10 for the past five lists.

“Through an analysis of the remote job posting histories of more than 54,000 companies in the FlexJobs database, we’ve pinpointed the companies that offered more remote-friendly positions than any others,” the official announcement from FlexJobs states. “For professionals interested in remote work options in 2020, this list is a great place to start your research!”

And that’s an important point, since jobs that benefit remote workers also benefit our clients, as we noted in last year’s announcement. “This recognition validates what we already believe,” said Kim Houlne, president and chief executive of Working Solutions—“that the on-demand, remote workforce model we’ve been perfecting for decades offers tremendous benefits to the customer-care industry.”

To that end, our high showing on this year’s list provides important, third-party validation of our mission to meet the remote workforce needs of clients spanning the “energy, retail, communications, travel, financial, and healthcare industries,” as FlexJobs explains in our company profile. It also illustrates our “expertise in customer-care operations, development, technology, recruiting, security, and analytics.”

Did You Know? We also were recognized by FlexJobs as among the “Top Companies for Remote Jobs Run by Women” in 2019.

To qualify for the annual list of FlexJobs Top 100 Companies with Remote Jobs, businesses must offer opportunities that are “formally reported and advertised as remote,” FlexJobs Founder and CEO Sara Sutton explained in the announcement.

Breaking down the most-represented industries in the Top Companies list, the FlexJobs announcement ranks sales and customer service as the third most-used type of remote worker. And that niche is exemplified by the services offered by Working Solutions, which FlexJobs calls the “highest-rated, home-agent company of its kind” in our company profile.

“Founded prior to Google and Facebook, Working Solutions has grown from one of the nation’s first virtual workforce companies to an industry leader,” the profile adds. “Working Solutions helps clients improve customer satisfaction, create better customer experiences, increase sales-close rates, attain higher-average order values, and improve efficiency.”

Citing our reputation for providing workforce scalability, the profile adds that our “range of independent agents… reflect the diversity in the customers and clients it serves, including military spouses, stay-at-home parents, career-change professionals and seniors.” That diversity is maintained in no small part by our enormous network of more than 150,000 registered agents across the United States and Canada.

”Happier in Their Jobs,” Remote Workers Enjoy “Ideal Work-life Balance”

The FlexJobs announcement wraps up by sharing the insights of remote workers who value the types of jobs offered by the companies on this year’s Top 100 list. “Having a remote position allows me to travel whenever and wherever I want, as well as build an ideal work-life balance,” as one remote worker says.

And that kind of testimonial from happy, fulfilled workers may be the best validation yet of our ability to offer the kind of remote workforce that gets results for the businesses we serve—a list that includes a number of household names and FORTUNE 500 companies. It’s also supported by a CNBC report on the list noting that, besides earning great compensation, remote workers “tend to be happier in their jobs.”
