Globitel Launches “My Status” Service for its Customers

Globitel, the worldwide leading telecom solutions provider, has recently launched a new innovative service in the telecommunications and information technology solutions market called “My Status”, allowing users to specify their general status to all callers, some callers, or specific callers.

Considered part of the value-added services bundle, “My Status” features three options – the first specifies the current status of the user to all callers; the second option states the current status to a specific caller, predetermined by the user; and the third option gives the current status to caller groups, also as predetermined by the user, including the Black List, the Friends List, the Family List, and the Colleagues List, to name is few. “My Status” also has a large number of creative features that makes it an appealing service which is soon expected to be an indispensable service to the user.

This service was very well received by the telecom market since its launch. Mr. Fadi Qutaishat, Globitel’s Vice President – Sales & Marketing, commented saying, “Globitel had taken notice of customers being big fans of the “Status” option – especially the youth category – which is popularized by social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter, so the company decided to launch this value-added service and make it available on mobile phones for all users to enjoy this modern service from Globitel, wherever they are.”
